US Treasury Mulls Unique $1 Trump Coin Displaying ‘Fight, Fight, Fight’ Inscription

Celebrating the semiquincentennial of America's independence, the US Treasury is considering the production of a $1 coin showing President Trump with a clenched fist under an Stars and Stripes and the words “fight, fight, fight”.

Event-Driven Connection

The phrase directly references what Trump exclaimed immediately after surviving an assassination effort four months before he secured a return to the Oval Office.

Official Revelation

US Treasurer Beach effectively announced a concept of the coin on Friday via X, saying: “Absolutely real. These concepts marking America’s 250th birthday and [Trump] are real.”

The online announcement – which boosted another account discussing the draft design – stated that Beach looked “forward to sharing more” after the conclusion of the temporary shutdown that commenced after late Wednesday when Senate Democrats demanding concessions on health policy and other funding matters refused to provide the approval necessary to pass a Republican-backed spending legislation.

Authorization Background

As reported, in 2020, at the conclusion of his first presidency, Trump approved jointly supported bill permitting the treasury secretary to issue $1 coins during the year 2026 that are “symbolic of the United States 250th anniversary”.

Features Elements

The front of the coin on whose proposed design Beach commented recently featured Trump’s likeness alongside “Liberty”, “In God we Trust”, and “from 1776 to 2026”.

The other side alluded to the effort to harm Trump at a political rally in PA last year, when law enforcement said a gunman injured Trump’s ear and hurt two others before being killed by the US Secret Service.

Trump lifted his fist after the incident – one of two efforts on his life for him as he successfully ran for a second Oval Office term in 2024 – and yelled, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” with an US flag prominent nearby.

Clarification

A statement from a Treasury representative stated that the proposal which Beach’s X post discussed was not the “final $1 coin design”. But the response asserted that “this proposal effectively captures the enduring spirit of our land and republic, even in the face of immense obstacles”.

Political Environment

Trump’s approval rating on generally has dropped to negative figures, as his new presidency has slashed health coverage and nutrition assistance that helps the poor, while also implementing import taxes that came before a reported rise in consumer prices.

Furthermore, the White House has also deployed US military troops into the urban centers of various municipalities, cut roughly significant funding in support for vaccines such as the ones that played a role in stopping the coronavirus crisis, and had difficulty to contain a controversy over his former association with deceased sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein.
